报告人简介:

李宝军,暨南大学教授、校学术委员会委员、纳米光子学研究院院长。长期从事光学与光学工程领域的前沿研究,在光子器件新材料、新机理、新结构、新技术等方面做出了系统、创造性贡献。先后获国家自然科学二等奖(第一获奖者),长江学者特聘教授,国家杰出青年科学基金,全国五一劳动奖章,全国优秀科技工作者,国家有突出贡献中青年专家,国家百千万人才工程人选,教育部创新团队带头人。现任广东省光学学会理事长,广东省学位委员会学科评议组光学工程学科召集人,中国光学学会光电技术专业委员会副主任等。


Biography:

Dr. Baojun Li received his Ph.D from Xi’an Jiaotong University in China in 1998. He worked at Fudan University in Shanghai, China as a Postdoctoral Fellow from 1998 to 2000. After that, he worked at the Singapore-MIT Alliance and National University of Singapore from 2000 to 2002, first at a Postdoctoral Fellow and then as a Research Fellow. From April to October 2002, he worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering in Singapore. He joined Sun Yat-Sen University in Guangzhou, China as a full Professor in 2002, and also served as the Director of the Research Laboratory for Optoelectronic Integration and Lasers in the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies. From May to November 2009, he worked at University of Oxford as a Senior Visiting Scholar. After that, he came back to Sun Yat-Sen University as a Chang Jiang Scholar Professor and served as the Dean of the School of Physics and Engineering. In July 2016, he moved to Jinan University, Guangzhou, China, where he currently serves as the Director for Institute of Nanophotonics.


报告摘要:

以光纤通信为代表的光纤科学与技术的发展取得了辉煌成就,以光纤传感为代表的光纤科学与技术的研究已延伸到社会发展和人们生活的各个方面,以光纤为基础的各种新型微纳结构光子器件不断被设计和制作成功,新的应用领域和潜力不断被挖发掘。在本报告中,作者将向大家展示微纳光纤探针在光操控领域的最新研究成果和应用前景,加强与大家的交流与合作。


Abstract: 

Great attention has been paid recently on manipulation of particles and cells. Different manipulation methods, such as optical methods, dielectrophoresis, and acoustic tweezers, have achieved fruitful results. Among them, optical methods have merits of high flexibility, targeting, and non-invasiveness. In this talk, we will talk optical manipulation of particles and cells using fiber probes. This is a non-invasive method to provide potential application for biological and colloidal researches.
